London 2009

In 2009, fifteen stylists from Dion’s South traveled to London to attend the Vidal Sassoon Advanced Academy for the first private clinic ever held for an American salon. The stylists were very impressed by the discipline shown at the Academy as they practiced on 40 models for 5 days. Starting in 1975 Richard Dion was trained by the top Vidal Sassoon stylist in Beverly Hills, and he was ecstatic to find that the top standard that he experienced in his training was still intact at the Academy in London in 2009. The stylists also visited Shakespeare’s home in Stratford and Warwick Castle, then traveled by the Eurostar train underneath the English Channel to Paris.
